The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences has formed a student wing of Computer Society of India (CSI) at a programme in which the CSI Vijayawada Chapter chairman Dr K Rajasekhar Rao and state CSI student coordinator AV Praveen Krishna participated.

Ongole: The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences has formed a student wing of Computer Society of India (CSI) at a programme in which the CSI Vijayawada Chapter chairman Dr K Rajasekhar Rao and state CSI student coordinator AV Praveen Krishna participated.

The PACE college student coordinator and assistant professor P Lokaiah introduced the guests and the head of the CSI wing Dr TR Chaitanya appreciated the efforts of the CSI to provide the latest technological advancements to the students and wished the college students utilise the services for better career.

AV Praveen Krishna said the Computer Society of India has divisions in other countries also, organises meetings, programmes, discussions along with the publication of papers to make the new innovations in computer science reaching the common public. He wished the students, professors and other engineers also join the CSI as members. Dr Rajasekhara Rao appreciated the college for cooperating in the establishment of the students' wing and asked the students to utilize their services. Dr Sriraj Anand, dean of academics wished the students to show their talent in new innovations.

The college principal Dr Srinivasan said that they have established various divisions to help the students of different departments in the college and established the CSI wing for the IT and CSE students. The college secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar also explained various initiations being taken by the college management for the students.
