Andhra Pradesh Builders and Contractors Association (APBCA) president A Srinivas Reddy said that the contractors were in neck deep trouble due to the non-payment of the bills by the previous TDP government in the state.
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Builders and Contractors Association (APBCA) president A Srinivas Reddy said that the contractors were in neck deep trouble due to the non-payment of the bills by the previous TDP government in the state.
The APBCA organised a district meeting here on Sunday, to discuss various issues and problems the builders and contractors were facing. Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas said that the previous government had diverted the funds allocated to them which pushed the contractor into problems due to delay in payments. He recalled that tenders were called without proper budget estimates.
He welcomed Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's for making the tender procedure transparent by allowing it to upload. Due to the pending bill from the government the contractors are facing trouble to pay the employees. They formed an association to solve the problems faced by the builders and contractors, he added.
The association vice-president R Aadi Babu, M Ratna Rao, general secretary Ch Vijaybhaskar, joint secretary Ch Suresh Kumar and others were present.
