With the outbreak of coronavirus, the government of Andhra Pradesh has taken more steps to prevent the virus.

With the outbreak of coronavirus, the government of Andhra Pradesh has taken more steps to prevent the virus. Special control rooms have been set up at AP Bhavan in Delhi, especially for students from abroad. Also, control rooms have been set up in the NRT cell in the AP Secretariat. Many institutions in abroad have been closed due to coronavirus with which the students are travelling back to their hometowns.

On the other hand, the state government has appointed IAS officer JV Murali as coordinator. While Andhra Pradesh Special Representative Vijayasai Reddy will coordinate with the Foreign Ministry in Delhi. Also, high-level task force has been set up to monitor the situation.

The task force includes Ministers Alla Nani, Mekapati Gautam Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Government Advisor to Medapati Venkat. The government has provided Control Room Numbers in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.
