Meanwhile, the latest decision is creating chaos to the common citizens. As many as three hundred employees of Chittoor Collectorate who are residing at Tirupati could not reach to Chittoor today due to cancellation of trains.

Every working day, they use to travel in Venkatadri Express from Tirupati to Chittoor to attend their duties The trains arrives to Tirupati by 8 am and reaches to Chittoor by 9am while the same train returns from Chittoor by 5.30 pm and reaches to Tirupati by 6.30 pm. It is the most convenient train for the employees.

Andhra Pradesh government led by chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday announced closure of inter-state borders for transport till March 31 and asked people to step out of their homes only for essential needs.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said public transport within state and inter-state would be shut while the government employees would be working in rotation basis.
