Coronavirus update: 295 new cases reported in Andhra Pradesh, takes tally to 8,84,171

Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh are on the decline. In a bulletin released by the state medical and health department on Thursday, 59,410 people were tested for coronavirus and 295 tested positive in the past 24 hours. This brings the number of corona infections in the state to 8,84,171.

Meanwhile, one died on Thursday in Krishna district taking the death toll from the corona epidemic has risen to 7,126 across the State. On the other hand, the number of discharges in the state has increased tremendously with a total of 368 people were fully recovered and discharged from the corona epidemic on Wednesday with which 8,74,223 people in the state have now fully recovered from the coronavirus and discharged, while the number of active cases has dropped to 2,822.

The government has tested 1,21,64,531 samples so far across the state, the bulletin said. The highest number of corona cases was reported in Krishna district on Thursday, while the lowest number was reported in Vizinagaram district with 45 and 4 respectively.
