Coronavirus update: Andhra Pradesh reports 147 new cases taking tally to 3990

Andhra Pradesh state has registered as many as 147 new Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 3990. On the other hand, sixteen people have recovered and discharged by which the total number recoveries stands at 2403 and 77 deaths with two deaths one each in Krishna and Kurnool districts. The active cases in the state stand in 1510.

As per the media health bulletin released by the state government, a massive number of 15,085 samples were tested in the last twenty-four hours.

On the other hand, migrant returnees cases have increased to 907 with 553 actives cases and 36 discharges today while the cumulative cases from foreign returnees stand at 132 with 114 active cases. The government has stopped the district-wise COVID-19 data from last month however, the state has surpassed 4 lakh number in conducting the tests to the people in the state, which is the first state to do so in the country.
