Coronavirus update: Andhra Pradesh reports 299 new cases, tally hits 5854

According to the media health bulletin released by the state nodal officer on Thursday, as many as 299 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the past twenty-four hours out of 13,923 tests conducted. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases has reached 5854 cases in the state. Meanwhile, two more deaths in Krishna district took the toll to 92.

According to the state media bulletin, 78 persons were discharged after cure on Wednesday taking the total recovered cases to 2983 leaving 2779 active cases on an overall. On the other hand, the state has 6 lakh COVID-19 tests.

The foreign returnees cases increased to 289 with 242 active cases and 3 discharges today while the migrant returnees cases' increased to 1353 leaving 611 active cases and 51 discharges today.
