Couple commits suicide in Kurnool district

Rudravaram: In a tragic incident, a couple has committed suicide. The deceased identified as Srinivas (26), Nagajyothi (22) of Nakkaladinne village at Rudravaram Mandal of Kurnool district.

The couple got married on May 1st last year. Srinivas completed his studies in Hyderabad and worked in a gas godown. With this, he has shifted his family to the city. Before completing the first marriage anniversary, both fell sick.

When consulting a doctor, it got confirmed that they suffer from an incurable disease. Over this, they left Hyderabad, moved to Koilkuntla village and get treatment in a private clinic in Nandyala.

In spite of the treatment, the health condition deteriorated day by day. In this context, they went to Nakkaladinne on Monday evening. After the dinner, the couple consumed pesticides by mixing in the soft drink.

After some time Nagajyothi vomited, run to the in-laws and said that they consumed poison. Immediately, both were rushed to the government hospital. As the condition was critical, they were shifted to Nandyala in 108 ambulances. While receiving the treatment, both died in the hospital. Over the information from the family members, the police registered a case and investigating further.
