COVID-19: China's Fortune Hero ship stopped from entering Visakhapatnam coast

In the wake of increasing Coronavirus suspects in the two Telugu states, the Navy Authorities at Visakhapatnam port has refused permission to China's Fortune Hero Ship to enter into the Visakhapatnam coast. The ship, which arrived in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, had 22 passengers on board with 15 from China and three from Myanmar. They were ordered not to enter the shore on suspicion of corona infection.

The authorities have sent the doctors to examine the passengers before they enter into the coast. Due to the lack of clarity on the health of passengers, the port was not allowed. Meanwhile, Coronavirus is fast spreading around the world. More than 3000 people have already been killed in China and another 139 people have been confirmed infected with the virus.

The latest figures, however, show that corona in China is steadily declining. At least 31 people died of the virus on Wednesday, which resulted in a total death toll of 3 thousand. Officials said.
