Guntur: Communist Party of India leaders burnt the copies of GoMsNo: 99 at RTC Bus Stand Centre in the city on Thursday issued by the government cancelling earlier GO 38 issued by the TDP government to release funds for 4 and 5th installments of Debt Redemption Scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, CPI State secretary K Rama Krishna demanded that the government should cancel GO No: 99 immediately and release funds for 4,5th installments of Debt Redemption Scheme.
He warned that the party will intensify their agitation in this regard if the government failed to withdraw the GO. He further said that about 30-lakh farmers in the state are eagerly waiting for the release of installments under the scheme.
