Due to the low lying pressure, the Bulbul cyclone continues in the Bay of Bengal, which is located at a distance of 95 km in Paradip sea in Odisha. As per the reports from the weather department, the Bulbul cyclone is gradually weakening and likely to cross the coast at night at Keppura in Bengal.

Odisha and West Bengal likely to receive the rains, while there is also a chance for drizzles in Srikakulam and Vijayanagar districts of Andhra Pradesh. Officials prepared ships and helicopters to carry out relief operations.

Earlier, the Visakha Meteorological Center stated that the cyclone has changed its direction on Saturday morning and travelling towards north-east. In the wake of the cyclone warnings, a second alert has been issued to the Krishnapatnam, Nizampatnam, Machilipatnam and Visakhapatnam ports.
