Devotees pay vows to deity in Ganga Jatara

Tirupati: In the ongoing Ganga Jatara, devotees paid their vows to goddess Gangamma here on Saturday. Women devotees have performed special pujas by carrying earthen pots on their heads and dropping their donations in Hundi.

Gents wore Gandham Vesham (attire) and came to the temple and offered prayers to the goddess Gangamma. Children also accompanied their parents to the temple. Priests Ramakrishna Swamy, Murali Swamy have performed special rituals to deity. Temple Trust Chairman RC Munikrishna and EO Kasthuri were present.
