DGP R.P.Thakur inaugurates model P.S. in Ponnur
Director General of Police, R.P.Thalkur inaugurated Model Police Station constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.25 crore at Ponnur on Wednesday.He visited all the rooms in the model police station, later interacted with the officials.

In the Model Police Stations the government provided better facilities to the cops to improve their performance. All the rooms in the police station are air conditioned. The department has already trained the staff to be posted in the model police station to perform their duties efficiently.
South Coastal Zone Guntur range Inspector General of Police, Rajiv Kumar Meena, district collector Kona Sasidhar , Guntur rural S.P. S.V.Rajasekhar Babu, Guntur urban S.P. Ch.Vijaya Rao were among those participated.
