District level science fair on Dec 18, 19: DEO S Abraham

Kakinada: District Education Officer S Abraham said that district-level Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for Children (JNNSMEE)-2019 would be held here on December 18 and 19.

Addressing the media here on SundaKakinada,Kakinada news,Kakinada latest news,Kakinada news live,Kakinada news today,today news Kakinada,DEO S Abraham,JNNSMEE-2019 ,District level science fair on Dec 18, 19 DEO S Abraham,Kakinadaraham said that elaborate arrangements have been made in collaboration with the allied government departments and other institutions to ensure successful and smooth conduct of the science exhibition.

He said the science exhibition would encourage the participants to hone their creative skills and develop a scientific temper. The overall objective is to widen the resource base of the country's scientific pool in the future, he added.

He said that interest in science should be inculcated among the children from their childhood and the teachers have a key role to play in this regard. Facilities should be provided in schools in setting up laboratories in schools and colleges for the growth and development of science.
