Eight fresh Covid-19 cases reported in Kurnool district
Eight fresh covid-19 cases were registered in the district on Friday and the total cases have reached to 599
Kurnool: Eight fresh covid-19 cases were registered in the district on Friday and the total cases have reached to 599. The total figure includes 390 discharges, 191 active and 18 deaths.
District Collector G Veera Pandiyan said of the 47 discharges, 17 are from a covid care centre arranged at Chaitanya College, 12 from Santhiram Covid hospital, 9 from Vishwa Bharathi and another nine from Kurnool state level Covid Hospital.
Following the protocol the positive patients have tested samples for two consecutive times. During the two tests all 47 persons have tested negative with which they were discharged, Veera Pandiyan said.
He further said that the number of discharges 390 have outnumbered the positive cases 191.
It is very happy to see the number of discharges is gradually increasing by every passing day. All the discharged persons were given Rs.2000 each following the Covid-19 protocol, addedVeera Pandiyan.
