Eight-year-old girl murdered brutally in Chittoor: The probe is on

The brutal murder of a child in Chittoor district has annoyed everyone. An 8-year-old girl who was accompanied by her parents to a relative's wedding was kidnapped at the Kalyana Mandapam at midnight.

Sidda Reddy, a native of Chittoor district, came to the NNR Kalyana Mandapam in Kurabalakota Mandal for a relative's wedding. Unidentified persons have kidnapped 8-year-old Varshaini, the third daughter of Siddhartha Reddy at midnight. However, early this morning, the dead body of the girl is found lying at the back of the wedding hall. Parents and relatives were shocked to see Varshini lying dead.

The police are investigating the case following a complaint lodged by her parents and acquired the CC TV footage captured in NNR Kalyana Mandapam. Varshini's murder is believed to be due to revenge. Police are investigating the case from all angles.
