Kadapa: Festive look prevailed in Chief Minister native Kadapa district with the farmers in big numbers thronged to the state government's prestigious Rythu Bharosa Scheme and Prime Minister Kissan Yojana 2019 headed by district administration across the district on Tuesday.
MLA'S, MP'S participated in the event along with local party leaders in their respective constituencies.
Total 2,43,529 farmer families were benefitted RS 193.56 Crores. Apart from 1578 tenant farmers got benefited 1.81crores under this scheme.
Deputy Chief Minister Amzadh Basha who launched Scheme scheme along with Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy at Telugu Ganga colony in Mydukuru town said that despite government has been facing severe financial hurdles but committed to implement RBS with the 60 percent of people depending on cultivation as livelihood.
The deputy chief minister recalled that after the Rajasekar Reddy regime farming sector was totally neglected as the previous TDP government has no clarity on farming community. To overcome such situations chief minister YSJagan Mohan Reddy has taken pains for bringing past glory by extending financial support and providing infrastructure facilities to the farming sector. He said farmers need not worry over securing financial support as government is Keen on providing every eligible.
He said as per the Navaratnalu scheme power is being supplied for 9 hours to the 60 percent of farmers under feeder channels. He said that government has sanctioned RS 1500 crores for repairs of 40 percent feeder channels.
Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy said good days are ahead for farmers as chief minister has decided to laid foundation stone for Joladarasi, Rajoly anecuts and tenders will be called SR-1, SR-2 works of Brahmam Sagar with in 30 days. He said chief minister is Keen on stabilize 90,000 acres in Kadapa district under KC canal by pending works in coming two years.
District Collector CH.Harikiran said Cattle Insurance scheme is implementing from 15th August in the district. He urged the farmers should avail this as state government is extending RS 1.50 lakhs under the scheme.
