Fire erupted from a company at Parawada Pharma City on Tuesday late night.
Visakhapatnam: Fire erupted from a company at Parawada Pharma City on Tuesday late night.
According to sources, a blast occurred at JPR Labs Private Limited, a unit of mankind pharma limited, thrice before a thick smoke and fire emanated from the company.
About 20 employees were said to be working during the time of the mishap. Fire extinguishers rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. The reason for the accident is yet to be ascertained.
Fortunately, there was no casualty reported. However, locals express concern over their safety as industrial mishaps continue to happen in the pharma city.
It may be recalled that a massive explosion took place at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City at Parawada last July.
