Five devotees died on the spot in an accident in Guntur

Guntur: In a major accident, five died on the spot, two injured seriously and a total of six members admitted in the hospital on Monday early morning near Chilakaluripet in Guntur district.
Surya Bhavani, 22, Venkat, 30, Geetheswari Babu, 4, Sonakshi, 5 and Manoj 22 of Sabbuvaripalem village at Palakollu mandal in West Godavari died on the spot in the accident, while they were returning from Tirupati, according to sources.
Primary information reveals that this was a result of negligence of driver of devotees. Sources informed that the driver hit a Lorry which was parked on the National Highway.
