Five died as lorry hits auto in Guntur district

Guntur: In an incident, five people died in a road accident when a mini lorry collided with an auto in Guntur district. This accident has happened near Repudi at Phirangipuram mandal here in the district. With the impact of the collision, five people died on the spot, and three others sustained severe injuries.

Immediately, the injured were rushed to the Narasaraopeta government hospital for treatment. The deceased are the natives of Puttakota village in Phirangipuram mandal and were returning to the village from a function. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and registered a case and investigating further.
