Amaravati: With the nearing of elections in AP, the state politics have become interesting day by day. As per the party sources, former CBI JD VV Lakshminarayana is going to join the ruling Telugu Desam Party.

It's said that JD will contest as the TDP candidate from Bheemili Assembly constituency in Visakhapatnam district.

In the recent review meeting, the TDP chief and CM N Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed the candidates for nine Assembly constituency in the district, the Bheemili constituency was kept under hold.

They were speculations that minister Nara Lokesh will be contesting from Bheemili and the sitting MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao was shifted to North Vizag.

But now its seems Nara Lokesh is shifted to North Vizag, Minister Ganta will contest as Lok Sabha candidate and the TDP supremo is fixed to give Bheemili seat to JD Lakshminarayana.

Lakshminarayana is an IPS officer of Maharashtra cadre, who has left the service voluntarily in order to get into the active politics.

After that JD Lakshminarayana has extensively toured the Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra region, interacting with farmers, students.

At that time it was in the news that JD will launch a new political party. Even there were speculations that former CBI JD has joined Lok Satha party.

Moreover, there is no clarity on whether Lakshminarayana will join TDP or not. The news about JD joining TDP has gone viral over the social media, but till now, he has not responded over the circulating news.

It's expected that by Tuesday evening they may be clarity on this news. As per the sources, Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao is in continuous touch with Lakshminarayana.

It's learned that JD Lakshminarayana is willing to join TDP, and if everything works out then he will be meeting CM Chandrababu Naidu in one or two days.
