In a shocking incident, four persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling hit by a container lorry from rear end on NH16 at Timmapuram village under Yadlpadu mandal of Guntur district on Wednesday mid-night.
Guntur: In a shocking incident, four persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling hit by a container lorry from rear end on NH16 at Timmapuram village under Yadlpadu Mandal of Guntur district on Wednesday mid-night.
Two persons died on the spot and two others died in the GGH at Guntur while undergoing treatment. The Police suspect that rash driving of container driver led to a road accident. The Police rushed to spot and inquired about the accident.
They registered the case and took up investigation. The traffic was congested after the accident on NH16 for some time while the police have cleared the traffic and started the probe into the matter.
