Search operations continue in Godavari river to find the missing boat passengers since morning.
Vijayawada: Search operations continue in Godavari river to find the missing boat passengers since morning. Today four bodies were traced in the river and sent to the government hospital in Rajamahendravaram. Yesterday, eight bodies were traced by rescue teams. So far post mortem completed for four bodies at the government hospital in Rajamahendravaram. The bodies would be handed over to the family members. CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted arial survey of accident area located near Kachchuluru village in Devipatnam mandal of East Godavari district. About 72 persons were in the launch when it drowned in the swirling water in Godavari. The rescue teams are searching for the missing boat passengers and the crew. Till now, 12 bidies recovered by rescue teams.
