Ganesha exhibition concludes at CCVA

Vijayawada: The Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) showcased various unknown forms of Ganesha through the ages that reflect the evolution of Ganesha in sculpture, said Dr Mandali Buddha Prasad, former Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly who was the chief guest for the concluding session of photo exhibition on Lord Ganesha (from 1st century BC to 16th century AD) here on Tuesday.
He complimented Dr E Shivanagi Reddy, CEO, CCVA for organising the exhibition which drew a good number of visitors for the past 11 days. Dr Reddy said that the early forms of Ganesa have only two hands and bereft of head gear on the elephantine head with prominent temples.
Killada Satyanarayana, Inspector General of Police, Police Transport organisation, M Chimpiraiah, Director, Malaxmi Group and Golla Narayanarao, Secretary, Andhra Arts Academy, Katta Srinivas, Nandakishore, Aravind Pakide Arya from Warangal (Telangana state) were present.
