The two-day Goldslam third Junior Tennis Tournament was concluded on a grand note at Chaya Tennis Academy here on Sunday.
Vijayawada: The two-day Goldslam third Junior Tennis Tournament was concluded on a grand note at Chaya Tennis Academy here on Sunday. The tournament was conducted in four different categories under 10, 12, 14, 16 years for both boys and girls.
The results of the tournament are as follows. In Under 10 years girls, Anshika Jha defeated T Jahnavi with score 6-3. In Under 10 years boys Arimilli Nishit defeated AMVS Chandra Bhanu with score 6-0. In Under 12 years girls T Jahnavi defeated Lasya with score 6-2.
In Under 12 years boys Arimilli Nishit defeated Mokshagna Chigurupati with score 6-5. In Under 14 years boys Yudhir Myneni defeated Abhrant Singh with score 7-6, 7-5. In Under 14 years girls (round robin format) Yuthika Peddu stood first and Manya Sudagani secured second.
In the Under-16 years boys S Veahith defeated Yudhir Myneni with score 7-3. In the Under-16 years girls Yasasvi Sunkara defeated Krishna Keerthana with score 7-0. The referee of the tournament was Venkatesh. The winners were given mementos along with certificates.
