The ruling party assured the support of Rs. 12,500 to the farmers during elections and now is ready to only Rs. 6,500 deducting the support of Rs. 6,000 from the Centre

Nellore: Former Chief Minister and TDP Supremo N Chandrababu Naidu criticized that the State Government which assured the support of Rs. 12,500 to the farmers is now paying only Rs. 6,500 deducting the support being extended by the Centre. He addressed the party cadres at Nellore on Monday he said that the ruling party is now cheating the farmers violating its own promise made during elections.

He said that some police officials have been acting as agents of the ruling party who had become 'sticker police' personnel to propagate the ideologies of YSR Congress. Chandrababu lamented that sincere officers are going on leave. He said capable officers have not been getting postings and only people who followed the YSR Congress chief up to jail are getting now key roles in the Government, defining them as Jail Mates.

"You are thinking that the state government would support you. Jagan is not permanent. If you violate the Act, you would have to face the consequence, whether you are IAS, IPS or whatever. This is a democracy and you would be liable for your acts," thundered the TDP Chief. He said police officials should act between the lines without party affiliations.

Naidu said that the state government is responsible for the death of the former speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasad Rao and said he lost his life for only a case booked regarding a case for Rupees one lakh and how much punishment to the YSR Congress supremo and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to be awarded for Rs. 43,000 Cr.

He said local YSR Congress legislator attacked a weekly editor, and recently on a woman MPDO and finally the Chief Minister resolved the issue at his residence. He ridiculed that the police have booked cases where station bail is available, and they have been booking non-bailable cases against the TDP activists. He said this is not appropriate on their part.

He asked why the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is not showing interest in apprehending culprits in his uncle's suspicious death case so far and people are raising their eyebrows on double standards of the ruling party. Kodi Kathi case is another classic example of the working style of the Government.

He said the state government is responsible for nightmarish conditions of the people who have been facing troubles for sand. He said only because of acts of the Government now the power is insufficient, and people are being levied J-Tax (Jagan's Tax). He said even gold is available in the open market where sand is scarce.

He said ruling party activists bagged all Sachivalayam posts and said how the ruling party paints the government offices with party colours which are undemocratic and unethical. He accused that the Chief Minister Jagan is acting according to guidelines of the Telangana Chief Minister KCR.

Chandrababu Naidu announced that he would back the party cadres even at the cost of his life and said he would allocate 33 pc reservations for women and another 33 pc for youth in future. He said there is a place only for sincere workers who dedicate to the party and they only decide their candidates for elections. Local leaders were present.
