Government fails to fulfill the promise on Superfine Rice: TDP MLA Atchannaidu

On the second day of the winter assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh, TDP MLA K Atchennaidu raised the question of the failure of the government to provide superfine rice to the people. The MLA recalled the chief minister Jagan's orders on the supply of superfine rice in Srikakulam as a pilot project.

Atchennaidu alleged government has lost its word on the promises superfine rice and reiterated that the govt had printed the bags for the supply of the rice.

Responding to Atchennaidu, Civil supplies Minister Kodali Nani told the Assembly that they never promised to supply superfine rice but promised quality rice only. However, The MLA expressed his outrage to the minister's answer citing the double standards of the govt.
