Following the orders of Andhra Pradesh High Court, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) will go for offline admissions for the academic year 2020-21

Guntur : Following the orders of Andhra Pradesh High Court, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) will go for offline admissions for the academic year 2020-21. BIE secretary V Rama Krishna issued orders to this effect.

He directed the principals of government junior colleges, private junior colleges, AP residential junior colleges, social welfare, tribal welfare junior colleges, AP Model Junior Colleges to take special care in enrolment of students .

As per the schedule for first phase admissions , sale of applications will start on January 7. Late date for receipt of applications in college is January 17. Date of completion of admissions will be January 17. Classes will start for Intermediate first year from January 18.

Cost of application is Rs 200. For SC,ST and PH students, application fee is Rs 100.The students who have already paid application fee online need not pay any fee. They have to submit receipt to the concerned college principal. The junior colleges will implement the reservations as per rules.

The BIE has permitted admission of maximum 88 students per section as per the High Court orders. V Rama Krishna warned that any deviation from the instructions will be viewed seriously.
