Guntur: Call to avail benefits of welfare schemes

Guntur: East MLA Mohammad Mustafa said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the Jagananna Vasati Deevena and Vidya Deevena welfare schemes to extend a helping hand to the poor people.

He addressed a meeting held at the Guntur Municipal Corporation Hall on Monday on the occasion of launching of Jagananna Vasati Deevena and Vidya Deevena.

He said that the YSRCP government was implementing many welfare schemes for the welfare of poor and urged the eligible to avail the welfare schemes introduced by the government.

GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha said that 207 village secretariats in the State are rendering better services to the poor. The State government was planning to render more services through the ward and village secretariats in the days to come.

Officials of various government departments were present.
