Guntur: Minister Mekathoti Sucharita seeks people's help to contain Covid-19

Guntur: Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita on Tuesday urged the people follow safety advice given by the Central and State governments and practise social distance to check the spread of coronavirus. It was not correct for a section of people to flout the government orders and loitering in the streets, she warned.

Addressing the media here, she said the people in the Italy had neglected coronavirus and they paid the price. She said the government would set up quarantine centres in every district and added that it is difficult to control coronavirus in third phase. She said the Village and Ward volunteers are collecting details of those who returned from abroad and medical tests would be conducted for them.
