CRDA has issued a reverse tendering notice for its Happy Nest telecommunication project in the capital, Amaravati. The deadline for filing bids is scheduled on 24, and the process will be completed on the 26th. In the past, the tender for the project was quoted for Rs 658 crore by Shahpurji Pallonji, who came to be known as L1.

CRDA has estimated that Rs 2 crore worth of work has been completed so far. Excluding that amount, the bids were invited with an estimate of Rs 656 crore. This will be the first project to go into reverse tendering in the capital. Officials have made it clear that there will be no changes to the project plan. It is noteworthy that the CRDA has launched its own Happy nest Mobile Project to the construction of 1,200 flats in all 12 towers and completed its booking process. Soil flattening and other construction work are estimated at 0.3 per cent. They have stalled the project works after YSRCP coming into power.

• The project is constructed on 14.3 acres at Nallapadu.

• Twelve towers in the G + 18 system and an additional two floors of each tower for parking.

• Flats in various sizes ranging from 1,225 sq.ft to 2,750 sq.ft, 2 BHK-144, 3 BHK-1,066 flats.

• The flats cost at Rs 3,492 per sq.ft, including other expenses.

• The CRDA promised to complete the project by December 2020 and handover the flats.
