The YSRCP candidate has filed an election petition in the High Court of Parada Tilak seeking to abolish the election of Tekkali MLA Kinjarapu Achenennadu of Srikakulam district.

The YSRCP candidate has filed an election petition in the High Court seeking Tekkali MLA Kinjarapu Achenennadu' candidature due to filing false affidavit in 2019 elections. Responding to this, the High Court has issued notices to several people, including Achchennaadu. It stated that the relevant persons had to answer the notices issued by Election Petition No. 6 on October 17. Congress candidate Chintada Dilip Kumar, BJP candidate Hanumanthu Uday Bhaskar and Janasena candidate Kranti Kiran Kumar, Forward Block candidate Chandrasekharapatnayak, Independent candidates Gutta Kanchana, Geddavalasa Ram, Election Returning Officer and Tekkali RDO were among the respondents.

Also, the court ordered the concerned persons to attend the court with adequate information to ascertain whether the petition is entitled to receive the complaint.

Parada Tilak alleged that Tekkali TDP MLA Kinjaruppu Achneenayu did not include criminal cases in the affidavit filed at the time of nomination. On July 21, 2017, a case was registered against Anachanapuram at Hirehal in Anantapur district, in which he was accused 21 in the case.
