Hindi Month celebration ends: VPT P L Haranadh
As a part of the ‘Hindi Month’ celebrations, Visakhapatnam Port Trust hosted a valedictory ceremony at the port.
Visakhapatnam: As a part of the 'Hindi Month' celebrations, Visakhapatnam Port Trust hosted a valedictory ceremony at the port.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chairman of the VPT P L Haranadh stated that 100% Hindi being implemented in Visakhapatnam Port Trust even though Andhra Pradesh State is non-Hindi speaking State. Deputy Chairman commended all the Heads of Departments and the staff for putting in efforts in implementing Hindi language.
Section-wise essay writing, elocution and quiz competitions in Hindi among the staff and employees were held. Haranadh, Deputy Chairman, VPT, distributed prizes to those excelled in the competitions. C. Harichandran, secretary and officer for Official Language, A.K. Mehera, chief engineer also spoke. The occasion has been graced by heads of departments, senior officers, staff and employees.
