History Of TDP Mahanadu: Telugu Desam Party… It was always a Telugu People's party thus it was named as TDP by our beloved Sr. NTR. Being vexed up with the Congress Party ruling, this ace actor of Tollywood has decided to come up with a local party who best rules the state.

Thus, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao, an idol and movie Super Star started Telugu Desam Party in 1982 and his remarkable journey begun by coming into power in 1983 with just 8-months of preparation and campaigning.

One more important reformation in the Education department was the introduction of 'EAMCET' in Andhra Pradesh and making it possible for poor students to pursue higher education.

NTRs style of administration is vastly different from his predecessors and this created a big impact among the then 6 crores Telugu population. Be it Rs 2 per Kg Rice scheme or power for 50 Rupees or giving equal property share to a girl child, forming first every women university for the upliftment of women or abolishing devadasi system or Patel Patwari system etc. All his decisions were just remarkable and influenced 90% of the common Telugu people.

He just rose to fame politically with these incredible decisions and also lost the power with his blind belief on his fellow mates. He managed the party along with continuing in movies, thus many of them took it as an advantage and made him act according to their wishes.

As NTR birthday falls on 27th May, the party decided to go with the 'Mahanadu' program every year on May 27th and May 28th. NTR fans and Telugu Desam party sympathizers from all over the world celebrate this event in a gala manner. Mahanadu is a program that is celebrated once in two years as Mark of respect to the founder of the party Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao where the resolutions over the party, the welfare of people, the future course of actions to be initiated in current situations. In the meeting, the president and Vice President of TDP would be elected unanimously.

In the last time sessions of Mahanadu held in 2018, the party has discussed about Amaravati capital, Polavaram Project, Pattiseema project, IT and its involvement, water improvement, farmers upliftment, women involvement in politics and empowerment etc.

Telugu Desam Party and Technology are synonymous with each other. Thus this party is the first political party in the country to embrace technology and use it in the right manner. Given his inclination to technology and how he brings in new technology, TDP chief Chandrababu is famously called as Hitech CM when he was in power. Naidu has been optimally using Zoom to communicate with party leaders, colleagues and interacting with people as well during the lockdown. As Corona has locked all of them in their homes, going with the virtual platform is a good decision.

Chandrababu Naidu has decided to conduct the TDP party's annual meet Mahanadu as usual without any change in this lockdown period. He has decided to go on with Mahanadu via Zoom Webinar on 27th and 28th May 2020.

The party has asked its leaders and workers to download the Zoom app and gave the sign-in details. The party said it would send the link of the Mahanadu and asked the leaders to tap on it and complete the sign-in details.

TDP is going to discuss the political, social, economic and health conditions prevailing in the state and country in this Mahanadu. The main agenda is to expose the Jagan-led AP government's 'undemocratic' and 'illogical' decisions at the Mahanadu webinar.

This is interesting as TDP is the first party in the country to do this via the Zoom app. Let's see how this meeting goes on!!! Well, if it gets successful than many political parties will also take it as an advantage and conduct their part meetings this way!!!
