INS Ranvijay undertakes PASSEX with USS John P Murtha

Visakhapatnam: INS Ranvijay undertook passage exercise (PASSEX) with US Naval Ship John P Murtha in the Bay of Bengal on Saturday. The PASSEX included naval manoeuvres such as visit board search and seizures, anti-craft exercises, fly-past and steam past.

The feats were aimed at enhancing inter-operability and to share best practices at sea. USS John P Murtha sailed off the coast from Visakhapatnam on Friday morning on completion of a four-day visit to Eastern Naval Command, according to a press statement released on Saturday.
