Intermediate student's death sparks protest in Eluru
The death of a first year Intermediate student Mohan Kumar allegedly because of indiscriminate manhandling by a group of miscreants sparked a protest as students stormed the college on Friday.
Eluru: The death of a first year Intermediate student Mohan Kumar allegedly because of indiscriminate manhandling by a group of miscreants sparked a protest as students stormed the college on Friday.
According to SFI city secretary A Sarat Chandra, relatives of a girl picked up Kumar from NRI College where he was studying in first year CEC on Monday and thrashed severely. He suffered serious internal bleeding in the incident and succumbed to the injuries on Thursday.
Demanding justice to deceased and harsh punishment to the attackers, the students under the auspices of SFI laid a seize to the college and raised slogans for justice. They demanded that the police should not divert the case investigation and investigate into the case to bring the culprits to book.
