International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is celebrating Lord Sri Krishna Janmastami in a big way at ISKCON Temple at Mallareddy Nagar in Guntur, according to ISKCON -Kondaveedu Project managing council member Ram Murari Das.

Guntur: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is celebrating Lord Sri Krishna Janmastami in a big way at ISKCON Temple at Mallareddy Nagar in Guntur, according to ISKCON -Kondaveedu Project managing council member Ram Murari Das. On August 23, they will perform special pujas to the presiding deity Lord Sri Krishna and offer teerdham and prasadam to the devotees.

On August 24, vedic pandits will offer harati to Lord Sri Krishna at 4 am and Srungara Darshanam at 8 am. At 8:30 am, Sri Krishna Leelamruta Pravachanam, Vutti at 6 am, Bhajana Karyakramam and Maha Sankhabhishekam, Prasadam distribution from 8 am to 8 pm.

On August 25, ISKCON founder Acharya Bhakta Vedanta Das 123rd birth anniversary will be celebrated. Abhishekm and special pujas will be performed to the swamiji on the occasion.
