It is impossible for Chandrababu to return to power: Kakani

Nellore: Quoting TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu’s statement that his party will come to power in 2024 elections, Agriculture Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy stressed that it is highly impossible for Chandrababu to re-establish the government.

Addressing the media here on Thursday, the Minister launched a scathing attack on TDP national president over his derogatory remarks on the YSRCP government. He alleged that thousands of farmers migrated to other States when Chandrababu was the CM. Reminding Chandrababu’s demand to give compensation of Rs 35,000 per acre, he questioned the former as to how much compensation he paid during natural calamities. He assured that the government will pay compensation as per the norms of National Disaster Respond Fund and State Disaster Response Fund, once the enumeration completes.

Calling Chandrababu Naidu as a great drama artist, the Minister ridiculed that Naidu made a hue and cry on his health condition only to come out on bail from Rajahmundry central jail. ‘Misguiding the courts by claiming that the State government was planning to eliminate him in the jail, Naidu managed to get bail,’ he added.

The Minister questioned if the TDP chief was really suffering from serious health hazards, then how can he tour flood-affected areas.
