Retire IAS officer, and former chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh IYR Krishna Rao wrote to a letter to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that people had given the mandate to the YCRCP because of failure of the previous TDP government. However, he made remarks on YSRCP stating that the Hindu people of the state are feeling the same and insecured.

He lauded the government for excluding Endowments lands for Land acquisition to construct houses for the poor. He said that the government had taken an excellent decision to allocate the TTD funds under the Department of Deity and Charity. Krishnarao noted that the last government did not give priority to Hindu Dhamma propaganda.

On the other hand, Krishna Rao found fault in giving financial aid to imams and pastors and termed it as unconstitutional. He said that there are Christian campaigns in the Hindu state, which need to curbed. Krishna Rao demanded an inquiry into the matter where Hindu deity statues were disrespected in Pitapuram town.

Responding on the capital issue, Krishna Rao said it was a good move to shift the capital from Amravati to Visakhapatnam. However, he urged the government to address the concerns of the people.
