Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered a thorough inquiry into all the Diwali cracker manufacturing units across the state to ensure the safety of the products, on the wake of two fire accidents happened in the state within three weeks.
Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered a thorough inquiry into all the Diwali cracker manufacturing units across the state to ensure the safety of the products, in the wake of two fire accidents happened in the state within three weeks.
Jagan sought details about fire accident at fireworks manufacturing unit at Vemawaram village of Tallarevu mandal in East Godavari, on Saturday.
Agriculture Minister K Kanna Babu, in a press meet, said that the Chief Minister has sought details about the two incidents happened in the past 20 days and ordered to search all the fireworks manufacturing units in the state.
He ordered the officials to help the Vemawaram victims in every possible way.
The Chief Minister ordered to seize the units in case of any errors found, said Kanna Babu.
The Minister said that ahead of Diwali festival, instructions have been issued to the police department for the thorough surveillance at fireworks manufacturing units, shops, and godowns.
