Jagan's rule took back AP by 10 years: Uma
Former Minister and senior TDP leader Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao said that the development of the State went back by 10 years after Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed charge.
Vijayawada: Former Minister and senior TDP leader Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao said that the development of the State went back by 10 years after Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed charge.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, he said that Jagan Mohan Reddy damaged the State progress due to lack of experience and also with the revenge attitude against the TDP leadership.
Uma deplored that the State government spent Rs 1,300 crore for changing the paints of village panchayat buildings with the colors of the YSR Congress. He said that they would lodge a complaint against the YSR Congress with the Election Commission of India soon.
The State government should remove the party colours before the local body elections, he said and pointed out that public money was being wasted.Uma alleged that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and TTD chairman Y V Subba Rao changed the TTD into a political centre.
He alleged that Subba Reddy made political settlements following the instructions of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. He demanded that the State government evict the TTD chairman from the Swarna Kutir which is being misused for political activities.
The former Minister also questioned the Chief Minister as to how the State government would install the statue of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy at the Pulichintala Project. He recalled that five Chief Ministers were involved in the construction of Pulichintala Project.
He alleged that the Chief Minister was looting the public money in the name of the reverse tendering system. The Finance Minister was not seen anywhere in the State. He pointed out that the scheduled banks questioned the State government as to what was the repayment guarantee if they extend loans. The State government's financial condition turned totally into bad shape with the attitude of poor leadership, he said.
