The partied have ruled out the decision as it would lead to the crippling of the Telugu, which is the mother tongue. However, the government is firm on the resolution and issued the notification on the same.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan was also opposing the decision and held a long march earlier in the month and took a protest. The actor turned politician has initiated a program called Mana Nudi MAna NAdi to bring awareness about the importance of Language and the river.

Off late, the actor once again took to the Twitter to criticize the government, by writing, "If Jagan Reddy Garu looks at these religious videos, then he will understand the importance of our Mother tongue & why we should safeguard it."

He also said that the common language is easily understood when we speak it in the language we are familiar with.

In another tweet, he wrote, "The origin of the Telugu language is Sanskrit, also known as the Deva language. The Bhagavad Gita or Shankaracharya Virachita wrote in the Dwapara era expresses the speciality of the Sanskrit language along with devotion.

However, YSRCP criticized Pawan Kalyan's movement from the very beginning by questioning him to tell about which medium his children are studying.
