Joint Collector reviews land acquisition process

Vijayawada: Krishna District Joint Collector Dr Madhavi Latha ordered the concerned officials to complete the process of land acquisition in a swift manner. She held a review meeting with the concerned officials on Tuesday at her camp office.

Speaking on this occasion, the Joint Collector said that all the municipalities, zones and villages including Vijayawada Corporation should complete the land acquisition before Ugadi festival.

Government land and survey numbers should be prepared, she stated and directed the officials to prepare a detailed list of beneficiaries, land required for housing, etc. She also instructed them to buy the private land according to government regulations and guidelines, when public land is unavailable.
