Justice Sankaranarayana to be appointed APBC Commission chairman

Amaravati: AP government has decided to appoint retired justice Ambati Sankaranarayana as BC Commission permanent chairman. He will be holding the post for three years.

Justice Sankaranarayana served as Judge in the joint high court. The government has taken the decision after consulting AP High Court interim CJ, Justice C Praveen Kumar. The appointment orders of Justice Sankaranarayana will be released soon.

In order to provide justice to backward classes, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to establish BC Commission on a permanent basis. As part of this, the AP Assembly has approved the BC Commission bill during the budget sessions.
