Kakinada: BJP campaigns on Modi's achievements in one-year rule
BJP East Godavari district secretary Rambala Venkateswara Rao called upon the people to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the sake of national unity and integrity.
Kakinada: BJP East Godavari district secretary Rambala Venkateswara Rao called upon the people to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the sake of national unity and integrity. Along with other BJP leaders, he took up a door-to-door campaign, distributing leaflets in Ramanayypet in the city on the achievements of Modi government during the past one year.
He was responding to the party central unit's call here on Sunday. Rao said the BJP government in its one year stint passed many acts including abolition of Triple Talaq for empowerment of women of Muslim minority community, abrogation of Article 370 and also taken up construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya following the Supreme Court verdict. The Modi government also took up many steps including Rs 20 lakh crore package, Rs 1,500 to Jandhan account holders to help overcome the difficulties due to pandemic Covid-19, he said and sought the people's support to the BJP.
