Amaravati: YSRCP's revolted MP K Raghu Ramakrishna Raju gave 48-hour deadline to the party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to take action against Devendra Reddy Gurrampati, Chief Digital Director, Information and Public Relations department, on Thursday in a press conference.

Raju warned that if Jagan fails the deadline, then he would take the matter to Parliamentary Privilege Committee and Lokayukta. He criticised that Devendra Reddy was drawing salary from Government and working as YSRCP cadre for the political party. It is known that Raju already objected to the criticism made by Dendra Reddy on social media earlier and wrote a letter to Chief Secretary Nilam Sahwney demanding action for that.

It exposed that the social media posts of the YSRCP followers and cadre turned into a heated political argument within the party. Raju, who revolted against the party chief Jagan, made serious allegations on the party social wing.

Reacting to the criticism of Devendra Reddy, Raju demanded to remove him from the post as he was serving to the political party even though drawing the salary from the government and enjoying perks and privileges.

He criticised that the YSRCP government was giving all high priority posts to the Reddy community and ignoring rest of the castes. He suggested not to lose the confidence from other communities.

On the other hand, Devendra Reddy stated that Raju cheated the YSRCP within a year after getting elected from the party and now giving preaches to others on ethics and conduct. Devendra Reddy further stated that Raju himself revealed in the press conference about his bald head. He said that Raju was criticising the colour of an individual, which was not acceptable. He said that Raju could not attribute casteism to the YSRCP government with his criticism.
