KIA Motors employee tests positive for Coronavirus in Anantapur
Coronavirus has hit KIA Motors Company in Anantapur where an employee who is working in the factory body shop had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Coronavirus has hit KIA Motors Company in Anantapur where an employee who is working in the factory body shop had been diagnosed with COVID-19. The victim has been identified as a Tamil Nadu native and was taken to the Quarantine set up at SKU University in Anantapur. The officials are in the process of identifying the employees who are in contact with him. The KIA industry management suggested that everyone in the industry should be taken into duties only after conducting the COVID-19 tests.
KIA Factory was closed in March with Coronavirus outbreak and lockdown. The industry was reopened in the last month with all measures such as setting up thermal screening and allowing the employees to office premises only after the screening.
On the other hand, KIA management is taking measures such as wearing masks, using sanitizers and etc. However, an employee being tested positive for Coronavirus has evoked concern over other employees.
