Kurnool: The state co-convener of Loukika Rajyanga Parirakshana Vedika, Moulana Musthaq Ahmed alleged that Modi government is creating rift among the people in the country by introducing anti- people bills. Opposing the bills, the people of Muslim community have launched relay hunger strike under the Vedika in Nandyal on Tuesday.

Addressing on the occasion, Musthaq Ahmed said that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National People's Register (NPR) are anti-constitutional. With the implementation of those bills Modi and Amit Sha have targeted the Muslim community, he said.

He asked Modi government to answer the people of the country about the necessity to implement those bills. ``Could anyone in the country can produce their origin dating back to hundreds of years. It is highly impossible, even Modi or Sha cannot prove their origin. Modi and Sha have targeted on Muslims,'' Moulana said.

Another leader said that India is a secular country where people of various religions are dwelling. With the introducing of CAA, NPR and NRC bills the central government is trying to ignite splits among the people living under one roof. He demanded Modi and Sha to take back the decision and strive to instil confidence that all are Indians and can lead life in harmony.

Launching relay hunger strike camp, President of National College, Imtyaz Ahmed participated and expressed his solidarity. Even the AISF, AIYF, DYFI and the ABM Church president Immanuel also extended their support to the leaders.
