They staged a protest at District Court under the aegis District Bar Association president Sistu Ramesh and general secretary G Sri Krishna Prasad and body members on Monday. They abstained from court duties.

Speaking on the occasion, they said the amendments to the Act will dilute the profession and common man will not get justice.

They demanded immediate withdrawal of amendments and raised slogans against the Central government's unilateral decision on it.

Advocates K Annam Naidu, Ch Laxman Rao, P Mallibabu, A Umamaheswara Rao, B Tirumala Rao, P Damodara Rao, P Srinivasa Rao, P Sandhya, A L Narayana and others participated.
