License must for security agencies: SP

Guntur: Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police PHD Rama Krishna informed that those who were operating private security agencies should take a license from the State government (Department of Home Affairs) and directed the private security agencies to select right persons for the posts of the security guards and impart necessary training to them.

They should pay salaries, provide uniform, health services, ESI and PF. He warned that the agencies without proper license of stern action. Cases would be booked against them, he warned. He said so far 194 security agencies obtained licenses from the government.

He urged the government or private companies who want to engage services of security agencies to utilize services of the security agencies who have obtained license from the government.
